Sweet love is the last thing Queen of Quiet Storm Anita Baker had on her mind when she took to Twitter Tuesday (June 13) to announce she booted Babyface from their hotly-selling North American tour.

As we reported last month, the drama started when Babyface (born Kenny Edmonds) was unexpectedly axed from the jaunt’s New Jersey date – an incident both parties suggested was out of their hands due to “technical difficulties.”
And while Edmonds made clear there was no beef between them, his fans weren’t buying it – some even taking to social media to slam the diva for what has been reported as primadonna behavior.
Last week Baker hit back at the allegations one by one as some not only mentioned her believed beef with Babyface but also rumored feuds with Maxwell and late R&B legend Luther Vandross.
That defense continued this week when Anita not only suggested she was being “harassed and targeted” by Edmonds’ fans but that he was encouraging the behavior by remaining silent.
Finally having enough, the ‘Giving You the Best That I Got’ singer announced she thought it was best she finished the tour alone in “the interest of personal safety.”

At the time of this report Edmonds has not issued a statement on Baker’s shocking announcement.
This is what she wanted all along. Anita is known to be a very difficult person to deal with. A shady, drunken, diva if you must.
First of all Anita get your old A** of the internet and let your team handle that. So you kicked this man off the tour because of his fans. What was he supposed to do.

The issues people have with Anita didn’t appear out of thin air sis. She has bad vibes and people feel it around her.
As someone who has been on the receiving end of angry hostility, the comments about Anita doesn’t shock me one bit. She like some of our sistas need to heal from whatever trauma they are dealing with. She went back and forth out of guilt.

Despicable. It takes two people to have an argument; it was her choice to allow public comments and to go back & forth with fans. Neither Anita nor Babyface owed fans the details of their contract, but Anita took it upon herself to try to prove every negative comment wrong which created more of a problem. She forgot that Babyface addressed fans from the get-go when there was talk of him being disrespected by her. He can’t control what people choose to think and say after that. Just because she makes time to argue with fans all day every day doesn’t mean Babyface should be expected to. I have seen both artists on tour separately and I liked both shows, but this action completely changes what I think of Anita now.

When Babyface addressed his own FANS, they should have accepted his statements and moved on. But his FANS wanted to drag this Woman all over social media. At this point, it was no longer about their show. It switched over to personal attacks, with them trying to discredit her character. He has NASTY Fans and she checked them.
